The 84th International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia will take place from 14 to 16 April 2026.
The conference motto – “The University of the Future: Impact-Driven Leadership” – highlights the role of universities in knowledge creation, innovation, and societal development.
The conference is organised in a new format and structured into nine thematic blocks, based on the priority research areas of the University of Latvia. These blocks promote interdisciplinary dialogue and cover all major fields of science, including:
- Natural Sciences and Technologies,
- Humanities,
- Medical and Health Sciences,
- Social Sciences.
The conference programme consists of section sessions within nine priority thematic blocks, offering participants the opportunity to present research findings, discuss current scientific challenges, and exchange ideas across disciplines.
The Opening Academic Plenary Session will take place on 14 April 2026.
Researchers and scholars from various disciplines are invited to participate in the University of Latvia’s international scientific conference to share recent research results, strengthen the scientific community, and contribute to the creation of new knowledge.
The conference provides a unique platform for scientific discussion and collaboration at both national and international levels, fostering innovation and mutual exchange of experience.
Conference section sessions will be held on-site and online.
